Terms & Policies

Applies to the Vie VPS machine rental service. Updated: 10/2026.

1. Terms of use

Your account is for you or your team; you are responsible for keeping the account and sessions secure and for all activity on machines you rent.
Vie VPS rents out remote computers from ready inventory. When a rental succeeds, the system assigns a suitable machine, issues RDP access details and records the rental history in your account.
Do not use the service for illegal activity, unauthorised access, distributing malware, spam, fraud, copyright-infringing content or anything that harms the system.
Vie VPS may suspend accounts, lock machines, request additional verification or refuse service when policy violations are detected; such actions are logged for review.

The wallet is a prepaid balance used to rent and renew machines. Every wallet transaction is kept and cannot be edited or deleted, so it can be reconciled when needed.
The current minimum top-up is $2.00. Daily limits may apply to new accounts or accounts showing signs of risk.
Top-ups via VietQR, USDT, Binance Pay or Litecoin (the channels currently open are shown on the Wallet page) are reconciled against payment gateway data or a manual review queue. The order code, amount and top-up status are shown in your account.
Promotional balance, if any, has an expiry; the system is currently configured for 90 days. At checkout, promotional balance is used before your regular balance.
Vie VPS does not issue discretionary refunds for change of mind after a machine has been delivered and used. If the system cannot assign a machine that passes readiness checks after charging your wallet, 100% is refunded to your wallet automatically.
If a Vie VPS system issue makes a machine unusable, we compensate with extra time, a replacement machine or a proportional refund to your wallet, depending on the situation.

After payment, a rental moves through these states: paid, being prepared, active. If preparation fails completely, the order is refunded to your wallet.
If a machine still has not been delivered 60 minutes after payment (machine fault, did not come up), the order is cancelled automatically and 100% is refunded to your wallet; you can rent another machine.
If you do not renew by the expiry time, the machine is reclaimed at the moment it expires — there is no holding period: your account and all data and software on the machine are permanently deleted, and the machine is shut down and returned to inventory (see section 4). Renew before expiry or turn on auto-renew.
Your RDP password is issued at delivery and can be viewed again on the machine page for the whole rental; you can change it on the machine page at any time. Keep your sign-in details private.
Auto-renew, if enabled in your account, only runs when your wallet has enough balance and no payment error occurs.

Vie VPS does not back up your data on rented machines. Back up important data off the machine before the rental expires.
If you do not renew by expiry, the machine is reclaimed immediately and all data, software and accounts on it are permanently deleted — nothing is kept after expiry; Vie VPS cannot recover deleted data.
Each rental uses its own login account, newly issued for that rental; the previous rental's account is deleted when the machine is reclaimed.
You may install software within your own account and are responsible for its licensing and lawful use; that software is removed together with your data when the machine is reclaimed.
Do not tamper with the machine's system configuration, network, monitoring software or administrator account, and do not attempt to gain administrator rights. Violations may lead to an immediate lock under section 1.
We notify you on the website (and by email if your account has one) when a machine is about to expire (7, 3 and 1 day before; for immediate-reclaim plans: 7 days, 1 day and 2 hours before — milestones longer than the rental are skipped) and when it has been reclaimed. Not receiving a notification does not change the expiry time, which is the data deletion time shown in your account.

The system monitors network telemetry to detect bandwidth abuse or unusual traffic on rented machines.
The current reference alert threshold is about 900 Mbps inbound or outbound, when telemetry is fresh. This threshold is an operational signal, not a fixed legal commitment.
When an alert fires, an admin may open a case, contact you, ask you to reduce load, lock the machine temporarily or reclaim it if the activity puts the shared fleet at risk.
Using machines for DDoS, mass scanning, proxy/spam, botnets, unauthorised exploitation or any activity that affects the networks of Vie VPS or third parties is strictly prohibited.

Vie VPS collects only the data needed to operate: email, account status, login sessions, wallet transactions, rental history, support tickets and operational logs.
Account passwords are hashed; RDP passwords are stored only in encrypted form (never in plain text) so you can view them during the rental, and are deleted when the rental ends.
Machine telemetry is used to monitor status, temperature, uptime and bandwidth; it is not intended to read users' personal content on rented machines.
Audit/log data is used to protect the system, resolve disputes, reconcile transactions and investigate security incidents.
You can open a ticket for help with your account, transactions or data within the scope the system currently supports.
